NYPD – New Police Academy, New York, NY

Project constructed in phases on a 35-acre site of a former NYPD impound yard. By constructing this facility, the NYPD will be able to consolidate its recruit training into an all-inclusive location by 2013. Plans include 250-wireless classrooms, a 100,000 s.f. tactical village, firing ranges, indoor and outdoor tracks, a simulated subway station, and housing. The new high-tech facility will also offer advanced instruction to law enforcement officers from throughout the United States, as well as from around the world.
