Originally from Puerto Rico, Jacqueline moved to New York more than 30 years ago and began building her career in construction management during a time when very few women held leadership roles in the industry. Through determination, technical expertise, and strong leadership, she overcame early doubts and steadily built a distinguished career working on some of the region’s most significant infrastructure, residential, and institutional developments.

Before founding JHM Construction Management, Jacqueline held senior leadership roles at several prominent construction organizations, where she helped deliver major capital projects and public infrastructure developments.

Her experience includes working with:

• Pizzarotti USA
• Bovis Lend Lease

During this time, she contributed to the successful execution of complex projects across multiple sectors while managing large teams and coordinating stakeholders across public and private environments.

Jacqueline has led and supported numerous large-scale projects across New York, New Jersey, and throughout the United States, including:

• Commercial developments

• Public infrastructure projects

• Hospitality projects

• Residential towers

• Cultural institutions

Her work includes projects exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value, demonstrating expertise in large-scale planning, procurement, logistics, and construction oversight.

Today, Jacqueline leads her own WBE/MBE-certified firm, JHM Construction Management. Through this company, she provides clients with strategic construction leadership, technical expertise, and disciplined project execution. Her work focuses on helping organizations successfully plan, manage, and deliver large capital projects while maintaining strong oversight and accountability throughout the construction process.
